Description
The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has an opening for a Systems Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to support the Advanced Battle Management System’s (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. In this mission we support the Department of Air Force (DAF) to manage the design, development, integration, validation, operation, and maintenance of current and new features and capabilities on the DI Network.ABMS is a top modernization priority for the DAF and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all services across the Department of Defense. That broader effort is known as Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). As envisioned, JADC2 will allow U.S. forces from all services - as well as allies and partners - to sense, make sense and act upon a vast array of data and information faster than adversaries can detect and respond.
Ability to work in Northern Virginia, Dayton, OH, or Orlando, FL is preferred. Candidate working from remote locations will also be considered.

- Support a System of Systems digital engineering approach through all phases of the Systems Engineering lifecycle
- Develop the baseline architecture model of existing systems and capture the configuration of the ABMS DI network, then help maintain robust configuration management of the system baseline
- Develop, maintain, and integrate MBSE-based SysML models, diagrams, and simulations in Cameo Systems Modeler
- Facilitate technical and programmatic information exchange with multiple government and contractor organizations through participation in Working Groups and IPTs, informal and formal technical interchanges, and formal reviews

- Interface with the ABMS performers and facilitate integration into a larger system-of-systems model
- Support Requirements development and management in a requirements management tool (ex. DOORS and/or Cameo)
- Support Risk and Opportunity Management
- Support training and onboarding of developers of DI network features and capabilities
- Support test, integration, verification and validation, and deployment of operational systems
Basic Qualifications
- Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- BS degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrable knowledge in Systems Engineering modeling tools (e.g. DOORS and Cameo)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
- Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
- Familiarity with Cloud and Edge Computing, Networks, Tactical Communications, Data Management, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and C4ISR systems integration
- Demonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence)

At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"-we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, “what’s next?” before the dust settles on “what’s now.”
If you’re already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2... good. You’ll fit right in.
