Company History
Cook Medical has etched a permanent, historical, and influential mark in the field of minimally invasive medicine. In 1963, Cook was simply a home-based business where Bill and Gayle Cook, founders of Cook, manufactured the first US-produced percutaneous wire guides and catheters. Since then, Cook has evolved into a thriving, global medical technology company. We now provide minimally invasive medical devices and technologies for nearly every area of the modern hospital, supporting almost 60 clinical specialties to 135 countries with more than 10,000 employees globally.
