Our highly qualified engineers are on the cutting edge of information technology and have extensive industry experience in requirements analysis and tracking, custom application development, database design and maintenance, and system integration and networking. We work closely with our customers to develop advanced software solutions proven to increase business effectiveness and efficiency.

From Federal government agencies and Fortune 500 companies, to small start-up businesses, we focus on achieving success for our customers by forming long-term personal relationships. In this way, we gain a deeper understanding of our customers’ business culture, practices and software needs.
Company History
Originally founded in 1993 as Computing Solutions, Genova Technologies was on a mission to provide technically superior Information Systems services that ensured customer satisfaction.
In 2001, the company underwent another change when Dawn Ainger, who had joined Genova in 1996 as a Senior Software Engineer, assumed ownership. Under her leadership, Genova experienced immense growth and now houses knowledgeable employees in Iowa, Texas, and Maryland.
Genova provides solutions for clients nationwide across several market segments and houses ongoing agreements with Federal & State Government agencies. We create advanced high-quality applications to increase operation efficiency within the avionics, healthcare, defense, transportation, and communication industries.

We provide the expertise and knowledge to integrate the technology applicable to our customer’s projects and long-range strategic plans.

Woman in Technology of the Year Award: March 7, 2007
Our very own CEO, Dawn Ainger, was honored in March of 2007 with the prestigious Technology Association of Iowa Prometheus Award for Woman in Technology of the Year.
The award was given in recognition of the innovative contributions and positive impact made by Dawn and Genova Technologies on Iowa’s technology based economy. The Prometheus Awards event attracts top names among Iowa's technology, business and political leaders. The event draws over 300 statewide attendees who come together on this very special evening to celebrate Iowa innovation and recognize Award finalists and recipients – the best and brightest of Iowa’s technology based economy.
Rockwell Collins Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year: 2004
When it comes to innovative LEAN techniques, cost saving measures, integrity and responsiveness, Genova Technologies rises to the top. Rockwell Collins recognized this fact in 2004 when they chose Genova as the recipient of their Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year award. Genova was selected from a pool of over 800 woman-owned small businesses partnered with Rockwell Collins.
